The College has an active wing of National Service Scheme.lt provides ample opportunities for students to serve society and also helps in their personal development .The motto of N.S.S. is “Not me but you” an important principle in inculcating a sense of social and civic responsibility among students. Various activities related to social service and welfare are carried out throughout the year under NSS. Activities like Poster making Competitions, tree plantation drive, cleanliness drive, training for self defence, seminars, paper reading contests, quiz, lectures on health related issues help in overall development of the students.
National Yoga Day was celebrated in the college premises on 21st June last year in which our college students, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff actively participated.
On 27th and 28th July a Voter's Identity Card Camp was organised. The SDM officer interacted with the students and informed them about the process of acquiring a Voter's Identity Card.
Swachhata Pakhwara was celebrated from 2 -10 August 2017. During that period many activities like, Oath Taking Ceremony, Slum Visit, Cleanliness drive (inside & outside the Campus) were organized. The main purpose of Rally for Rivers was to protect our rivers. NSS volunteers attended workshops on Rally for Rivers held in Delhi on 29th August, 19th September and 22nd September. Our volunteers also participated in rallies conducted by the NSS Unit.
A Poster Making Competition was organized on the topic: 'Beti Bachao Beti Padao' On 30th October 2017.On the occasion of Constitution Day a lecture was organized on the
importance of Fundamental Duties.
